During our recent Easter getaway, we stayed at Pensión Pedrouzo, ideally located just 10 km from the historic Santiago de Compostela. The property may not boast extravagance, but it offers a clean, spacious room complemented by essential comforts like free WiFi, heating, and a flat-screen TV. My wife and I, alongside our two daughters, appreciated the genuine hospitality of the staff, particularly during check-in; their friendly demeanor and sense of humour made our stay all the more enjoyable. Convenience is key here; with a supermarket right downstairs and various restaurants just a short stroll away, we found ample options for meals after our day's adventures. It's crucial to note the laundry facilities, which aren't accessible after 4 pm, a detail that caused a bit of a hiccup when planning our post-hike needs. The staff came to our aid, allowing us to use the facilities upon request. Pensión Pedrouzo is a practical choice for families like ours seeking both comfort and accessibility to the beautiful Galician outdoors.
